Frankenstein - Movie (2025)

It's a three star if you've read the book, probably a four if you haven't. They made a lot of changes to the ways that Victor interacts with his Creature and they diminish both of their characterizations. (Spoilers ahead) maybe my most nit picky issue is that the creature tells his side of the story directly. In the original we never once hear the creature's voice directly, it shows the power that Victor holds over the creature, as well as making his characterization unreliable. This is all lost by giving the creature a voice. I think they wanted to make both Victor and his Creature more palatable but as a result they just lost a lot of the complexity that exists between the two of them.

Frankenstein

Probably the first book that I’ve fully read in YEARS. I am obsessed with the depiction of humanity between Victor Frankenstein and his Creature.

The Wrong Paris

Honestly a really fun watch. It's a shitty romcom about a reality tv show. It knows exactly what it is and is a good watch with some friends.

Chasing Red

I could've written a better plot and more complex characters in 8th grade… and I suck at writing. The only reason it's not a one star is because the art was fine, but it's not a unique enough style to justify anyone reading the clusterfuck that was this plot.

Spinning Out

A show that needs to be watched with someone else to enjoy it, otherwise it's an easy 2 or even a 1.

Inglorious Bastards

Such a good watch! Minus that one moment that I rage baited myself while taking a guess at what might happen... only for it to be wrong.

Lore Olympus

The art style is drop dead gorgeous. Its so stylized in the best way possible and ontop of that the story is so good too. It was able to keep my intrest the whole time, knew when to end, and didn't drag on forever.

Perfect Match

A boring attempt to be Love Island by Netflix.

Words Left Unspoken

Another vampire werewolf Webtoon and once again... the writing so cringy. Were only three episodes in and I'm mildly bored, maybe things will improve though.

Critical Role

Watching campaign 3 and Mathew Mercer is an AMAZING DM. Also I love Fresh Cut Grass such a fun character.

First webtoon I’ve been with from canvas to original and omg the way the story grew is amazing!!! Their art style was already solid but now!!! It’s so nice and the story is super fun.

A fun concept and lead romance seems like it’s gonna be hella cute. Not too many episodes yet so maybe we’ll get to 5 eventually .

City of Blank

This comic had me in a chokehold for like a week. I've never read 200 plus episodes so fast. It's such a fun unique concept and their story telling is just on point.

Viewfinder

Super unique concept. So many trippy moments but the "aha!" for every puzzle was so worth it. Also it’s got a cute story for a puzzle game.

The Wild Robot

An amazing movie!!! It's got such a cute and heart warming plot. I am in love with the animation style all the nature looks beautiful its such a good watch.

We Were Here - Series

We were here under the bus!!! Incredibly fun duo game. Pretty sure there's some creepy jester at one point though so look out for that :)

Skool of Street

It's got really good pacing honestly, things don't feel like they drag on forever but it doesn't feel rushed at all either. I also love the art style, it's so clean and their anatomy is SOOOO on point!!

Bro vanished for seven years and then returned with this banger of an album. It’s such a solid album and a nice listen to all around.

Such a solid show. I’m not even a fan of League and its such a good watch. The art is so stylized and they use color so well. It’s a beautiful and fun watch

Bloons TD6

Silly little tower defense game with some goofy monkeys. CHIMPS on the hard maps are a pain unlike no other though.

Perfect game to kill time during a thirty minute Valorant queue ban.

Rusty Lake - Series

My all time favorite game series. 100% google the game order because the story is cute and a little trippy. The puzzles are fun and all the games have replay value as long as you give your brain a year or two to forget the answers.

How to Train Your Dragon - Live Action

Super cute and total maintains the energy of the original while still being a fun watch. Toothless is adorable and I would do anything for him.

It Takes Two

Super cute story. The game play is really intuitive; the challenge comes from the puzzles which aren’t stupid hard, just a lil confusing at times. Solid duo game.

Arcane - Soundtrack

An absolutely stacked soundtrack. So many bangers but I think my tops are “To Ashes and Blood,” “Paint The Town Blue” and “Cocktail Molotov.”

Alpaca Stacka

Wonderful game. In all seriousness it's free and you can play the entire game in about 15 minutes… If you want to say you have a game at 100% completion in your steam library play this.

Avatar the Last Airbender

Its just an incredible show. The way that the characters develope over the three seasons is beautifully done. Zukos character arch is iconic. Its just such a goofy feel good show and I don't know how many times I've seen it at this point.

K-pop Demon Hunters - Sountrack

I actually REALLY love this soundtrack. I wasn't expecting to like it that much and figured a lot of the songs would be kinda cringey but they are BANGERS!!! Golden, Takedown, Your Idol, even Soda Pop! They're FIRE!!!

Took me a bit to get into but its a fun read. I did skip ahead to see if the characters I wanted to be together were. Truthfully, I probably would've dropped it if they weren't.

Honestly a fun watch. The songs are pretty decent too, the Twice version of “Takedown" is a banger and I kinda like “Soda Pop" tbh. Its also a really pretty movie the art is solid. Jinus voice drags down its score though...

Maybe I'll change it to a four one day. But its really long and is starting to drag so its been a bit since I've read it. I'm probably gonna return to it soon though and hopefully it picks back up.

Genshin

As I'm writing this it's my current obsession game. I've been grinding like a crazy person. The main story quests are fun, they can drag from time to time so I do be needing hella breaks. The character designs are badass and I love. Current team is Kinich, Lyeney, Ororon, and Barbra and I fuck with them all heavy. I'm not a huge gacha games person though which kinda marks it down a bit for me, but I've gotten some lucky five stars so I can't complain much.

The Prince of Southland

Another one with an amazing artstyle and a plot that doesnt drag even though its on the longer side. Currently on hiatus and I am anxiously awaiting its return.

Down to Earth

I really like the art style on this one also. Plot is also fun and even though its got a LOT of episodes it wasn't dragging shockingly.

The Croaking

Its fun and another really unique concept. I'm on episode 200 though and I'm taking a break because theres just so much going on, my pea brain can't keep up. Also so many issues are communication based, thankfully the lack of communication does make sense but personal preference is that I'm not a huge fan of those.

The After Movies

Unfortunately, I've seen them all and... unless you'll be watching with a group of friends... don't.

Cinderella Boy

Super fun concept! I really love its sense of humor, it tickles me a bunch. Silver eats with Chases fits as well.

Heartstopper

Maybe the Webtoon is good but damn the show just wasn't for me. It was just so cliche and felt like they were shoehorning in every type of representation.

Undertale

Toby Fox ATE!! Although I'm tempted to give this game a one due to the Sans genocide fight. However the characters and plot are simply too good for that. One day I'll beat that sarcastic skelleton I swear.

My Demon

I loved this K-Drama. Fun concept I love a good supernatural element truthfully. The lead dude is also a baddie :o

ART IS STUNNING!!! I love their style so much!! Story and concept is also so fun and cute!! Also the season 1 finale reaveal... amazing!! Idk how obvious it was but its fun regardless so idc.
